We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with over 6 years of software testing expertise, encompassing both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Java Selenium, Cucumber, and additional experience in REST Assured and Postman. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality software, thrive in Agile environments, and are well-versed in bug reporting and tracking tools, this role might be a perfect fit for you. Software Quality Assurance Engineer 


You will be responsible for:

  • Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing activities, both manual and automated, to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Test Automation: Utilize your 4+ years of experience in Java Selenium and Cucumber to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites.
  • API Testing: Leverage your knowledge of REST Assured and Postman to perform thorough API testing.
  • Agile Testing: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes within Agile methodologies.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and report clear, detailed, and well-documented bugs using JIRA, and actively follow up to ensure closure.
  • Tools and Processes: Apply your extensive experience with software development tools, including requirement tracking (Jira, Rally), defect tracking (Jira), source control (GitHub), and IDE (IntelliJ IDEA) to optimize testing workflows.
  • CI/CD: Work hands-on with CI/CD tools such as Team City and Jenkins to support automated testing and deployment pipelines.
  • Manual Testing: Demonstrate a solid understanding of manual testing principles and methodologies. 

We require:

  • Languages: Fluency in English,
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of software testing experience, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing.
  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in Java Selenium and Cucumber, with a track record of designing and maintaining automation test suites.
  • API Testing: Familiarity with REST Assured and Postman for API testing.
  • Agile Experience: Previous experience working within Agile testing methodologies.
  • Bug Tracking: Proven ability to report and track bugs effectively using JIRA.
  • Tool Proficiency: Extensive experience with software development tools such as Jira, Rally, GitHub, and IntelliJ IDEA.
  • CI/CD: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Team City and Jenkins.
  • Manual Testing: Sound knowledge of manual testing principles.
